We spent two days at Magic Kingdom.
Don't we look like the stereotypical
tourists? There are so many things to do here. This was our favorite park.
We all went on
the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. You can see that Krista
really enjoyed the ride. Ashley even put her hands up during the
ride. In the second picture, Abbie and Krista are enjoying
Splash Mountain . Well, maybe not Abbie - she was terrified of
this ride! She enjoyed Space Mountain though.
We had lunch at
Cinderella's Royal Table in the castle. The girls posed in front
of the tile mosaic depicting the story. Ashley was excited to
meet Cinderella. She had drawn a picture to give her when they
met. Cinderella very much appreciated Ashley's picture and even
said that Ashley had beautiful cursive handwriting. She told us
she had a special place for Ashley's picture. We had a decent lunch and a visit from other princesses.
Snow White, Belle (Beauty and the Beast), Princess Aurora
(Sleeping Beauty) and Jasmine (Aladdin).
The afternoon
parade was exciting to see. The nighttime parade is very spectacular
but difficult to photograph. You will have to use your
imagination.
There was a
Hoedown in Frontier Land. The girls had fun doing the
hokey pokey with the dancers. The bear is one we had just
seen in a show called Country Bear Jamboree. They got a sticker
for participating.
Here we are
finding a spot for the evening fireworks. A friend of ours
had told us to be on a special bridge to get a close up look at
Tinkerbell. (Ashley's Favorite) We were so glad she told
us. Tink flew right over our heads. Ashley was thrilled. Night
pictures are so difficult to take, and Fireworks are almost impossible.
Ken got a great shot for us.
