We spent two days at Animal
Kingdom. Abbie had made reservations to eat at the Tusker House
for breakfast @ 8:30 AM the first day. We were at the park for the opening and
went straight to the breakfast. We had a very nice buffet and
the girls were able to get autographs from Mickey, Donald, Daisy
and Goofy. We then rode the Kilimanjaro Safari and got to see
lots of animals. We rode all of the other rides in the park and
had a full day of fun. This ended up being our second favorite
park after Magic Kingdom.
The girls are
getting autographs from the Disney characters at breakfast.
Daisy had the best autograph of any Disney character we found.
Here are some pictures from the
safari in the Africa section of the park. The truck we rode in was very bumpy and
made it difficult to take pictures. Most of my pictures are blurry
or I missed the animal altogether.
Abbie and Krista
got absolutely soaked on the river rapids ride.
Ashley and
Krista are playing archeologists in dinosaur land. They have an
area where you can search through the sand and find buried
dinosaur skeletons.
The girls founds
more Disney characters to get autographs from. The first one is
Terk from Tarzan. Second is Lilo and Stitch. The third one is
Biloo and Louie from the Jungle Book. Forth is Kena from Brother
Bear. Fifth is Koda also from Brother Bear. Sixth is Rafiki from
the Lion King. The last one is Jiminy Cricket from Pinocchio.
We enjoyed the
shows in Camp Minnie and Mickey. The Lion King show was our
favorite.
