We made a trip to see my family in Dallas, TX. We were picking up Ashley in Huntsville, AL and continued heading west to Dallas. We had a wonderful time staying at Zack and Becky's home. They have such a pretty place. An added bonus was a visit with Molly and Naomi. They heard we were coming and came over to Zack and Becky's to see us.  Wow! They look great. I had a wonderful visit with them and got all caught up with what's happening with their family.

Granddaddy is surrounded by some beautiful girls.  I don't  think he minds a bit.  There was Ashley, Krista and Macy.  Macy is Becky's granddaughter. She was spending the week with Becky and we were glad to meet her and spend some time with her.

Those girls love grandma Ruthie too. They are mighty pretty.

Zack sometimes brings his guitar and sings a song after lunch.  I know the other residents really enjoy this but my dad really does. It was fun to sing with my brother. Here dad is leading the group with a roaring rendition of "When the Saints Coming Marching In."

Amp William was home from college and I think he had a big fan club.  He was taking some summer classes while home and we all were very glad he was home.

What a handsome group of men. This was our Father's Day celebration!

Here are the girls! We all wanted to treat our men to a happy Father's day lunch.

A special family dinner outside at a Mexican restaurant. The food was delicious!

I treasure  this picture and the time I spent with my folks.

We all had a wonderful time. Grandma is wearing the South Carolina  t-shirt I gave her.

Ashley and Krista loved being close to family. Mom and Dad said they could not get enough of them and wished we lived closer.

Zack and  the girls sang some songs before bed. What fun this was!

Krista  in the pool at the Juliette Fowler Retirement Home. Grandma Ruthie wanted to see them swim.

Some fun on the pool. Grandma is a very good swimmer and loves to swim.

Play time. Fun in the Texas sun. What a great place to cool off.
